It has been over seven years in the making, I guess.

After a long-term friendship and partnership in various endeavors, including the formation and management of a student mental health not-for-profit organization and co-authoring a marketing book on Influence Marketing, Danny has joined me in the professional world.

I’m thrilled to announce that Danny Brown has recently agreed to join the team at Sensei Marketing as Manager, Digital and Social Strategy. Sensei and its growing client base will see immediate benefits from Danny’s strategic and tactical experience.

Over the last 20 years in the Marketing field, Danny has delivered results for some of the biggest organizations in the technology, digital and consumer industries including Ontario Lottery Gaming Corporation, BlackBerry, British Telecom, Orange, Microsoft Canada, IBM, Ford Canada, FedEx, Scotiabank, Vodafone, Dell and LG Electronics.

He co-authored “Influence Marketing: How to Create, Manage, and Measure Brand Influencers in Social Media Marketing” with me, as well as the author of three other books including “The Parables of Business”.

Before becoming an award-winning blogger and marketer, Danny earned an Associate of Marketing degree from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK. Among his multiple awards, Danny was voted one of Canada’s Top 50 Marketing Blogs and won the Hive Award for Best Social Media Blog at the South by Southwest festival.

These experiences and credentials will be well-utilized at Sensei, as we look to become the leading agency in Influence Marketing.

What’s Brewing for Sensei?  Marketing On Tap

Danny’s been hard at work tackling the strategic management of social and influence marketing campaigns for Sensei clients including the Canadian Professional Sales Association, The Regional Municipality of York, ECHO-USA, Ontario Disability Employment Network, and FitFirst Technologies.

Also, Danny will soon join me as co-host of Marketing On Tap, a monthly live marketing show and podcast in which we’ll do what we’ve been doing for years: Sampling new craft beers while riffing on the day’s marketing trends and the pros/cons of modern media campaigns.

As Danny has previously stated: What could go wrong?!

Stay tuned for “Marketing on Tap” and more from Sensei Marketing in the coming weeks and months.
